Oscar nominated in 2004 for Best Picture, writing, actor, and music, Finding Neverland tells the story of the inspiration for, and writing of “Peter Pan” by J.M. Barrie (Johnny Depp). Having gotten to know four fatherless children, Barrie begins the classic play of children who don’t want to grow up. Kate Winslet is Sylvia, another inspiration in Barrie’s life. This movie is the story of the creation of the original production of “Peter Pan” and shows Barrie taking themes he sees in his life and the lives of the children and incorporating them in his art.
