My Octopus Teacher is a Movie that Matters.
My Octopus Teacher is a documentary about a year spent by a filmmaker forging a relationship with a wild octopus in a South African kelp forest. It’s an interesting, beautifully filmed, truly inspiring adventure. It’s also so much more. Nominated for dozens of awards, the film has won several, including an Oscar for Best Documentary of 2020.
We love gathering friends for a great movie so join us for our Movies That Matter series. We’re showcasing Oscar-nominated, independent, and fan-favorite movies every first and third Friday – in-person in Sequim.
We serve pizza, popcorn, and dessert. Pizza is served at 6:3o and the movie rolls promptly at 6:45. Afterward, we’ll have a lively discussion about the film.
Donations are welcome to help cover our costs.
RSVP required with limited seating.
